The candidate have cleared (not before 2019) or appeared for BA (Hons) examination in 2023 from any recognised University. Appeared for BA  (Hons) exam and should have their final results at the time of counselling and produce their original mark sheets/grade cards of all semester/annual examinations passed at the Bachelor’s level. Such candidates must fulfil the academic eligibility norms for their applied courses tabled below for admission.

The candidate should appeared for their final BA (Hons) examination, but their final results have not been declared at the time of counselling, such candidates shall be given provisional admission on the basis of production of their previous mark sheets/grade cards of all previous semester/annual examinations at their Bachelor’s level. However, candidates are supposed to submit their final mark sheet till the mentioned date to ensure that they fulfil their minimum eligibility criteria for admission. Must secure the minimum required percentage of marks/CGPA in honours/major subject as per the following table in their BA (Hons) examination for final and confirmed admission.

Tezpur University (TU) provides a two-year full-time MA course comprising four semesters. MA is one of the most opted courses by students. Tezpur University inducts students in the MA course through CUET-PG rank. Candidates interested in taking admission in the MA course must take the CUET-UP entrance examination and prepare well for the exam described above. Qualified candidates can apply via the University official website and appear for the personal interview. 

Students whose rank is within the specified range mentioned in the merit list released by Tezpur University can register for the counselling process, followed by document verification and fee payment.

• Completion of an undergraduate degree from a recognised university or institution with a minimum aggregate score of 50% or above.
