The online fee of the form is Rs 1100 while the fee for offline is Rs 1160. The link for registration and application form is https://applications.srmuniv.ac.in. The eligibility criteria for admission in M.A. In mass communication is graduation with aggregate 50% marks.

Candidate with 50% marks at graduation level is applicable for the admission. University conducts an entrance test, that student must have to clear. The placement status of the college is good. The highest package offered is 7.5 LPA (approximately). It is said by one of the students that recently 65 students have been placed by the college. It has a list of reputed recruiters. It is considered good in terms of faculty, infrastructure, environment etc.

It depends upon the criteria of college/ university. Some of the private institutes ask for 45% - 50% while some demands 50% -60% but the government universities have specific criteria they may ask for 50%-60 % or maybe more, apart from this, they conduct entrance exam for Master's programme.
