Yes, you can pursue M.A. in English even if you haven't done B.A. in English. A Bachelor's degree is important to pursue Masters with an aggregate of 50%; the subject could be any.

Yes, you are eligible to do MA in Archeology after completing your graduation in any relevant subject. You must have qualified your previous education, in your case, B.A History with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

According to me, Kerala University will be a better option. As it is accredited by grade A. and it also has better infrastructure as compared to central university of Tamil Nadu.
