Indira Gandhi University, Rewari offers various Postgraduate programmes including MA in various disciplines. The duration for this course is two years. The eligibility criteria for IGU Rewari MA admission is Graduation in any discipline from any recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 45%. Admission to MA in IGU are completely based on merit scores obtained by the students in graduation. Hence, the university does not accept application in absence of final results of the qualifying degree.

Yes, M.A in Political Science course is offered at Indira Gandhi Tribal University (IGNTU), Manipur and Sikkim University, regional campus Manipur. IGNTU Manipur offers Political Science M.A and also Ph.D programs in political science. Sikkim university also provides M.A, M.Phil and Ph.D programs in political science. The closing date for applying to the M.A. in History at Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) in the year concerned is rather loose; an open university is not expected to have strict score cutoffs.
Admission is based on merit, requiring a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in History or related subjects. Eligibility was open to all graduates who qualify for admission for the session 2024-25, with no entrance test or cutoff percentile. M.A. in Functional English is not offered from the Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University. Their distance education programs as of March 28, 2025, include the following M.A. options: English, Tamil, History, and Sociology.
