The eligibility criteria for MA at SBC Mumbai is as follows:
- Candidates must have cleared their graduation from a recognised university or board
- Candidates who have appeared for the final exams in their last year of graduation can apply on a provisional basis
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can choose from the four specialisations and apply to their desired one.

It was more than likely that MA English (Hons) admissions at Elphinstone College Mumbai would have started, yes. The 2025-2026 academic year start date may not be officially announced yet, but Shiksha states that Elphinstone College generally uses a merit based admission scheme for UG and PG programs. According to Shiksha, the main channel to apply could be the online application portal of University of Mumbai, just verify the exact date of commencement and other application guidelines, it is advisable to check the official website of Elphinstone College or University of Mumbai.

For DU and JNU, the expected cutoff for MA Sanskrit is generally between 80-100 for the General category. Nevertheless, cutoffs are subject to variations depending on parameters such as applicant numbers and number of seats. Being a former DU student would not necessarily make a difference. Your score is good, you can easily get admission in both of the colleges.

Yes, you are eligible for the SET exam if you do your MA in online mode, as long as the degree is from a UGC-approved university. Online degrees from approved universities are deemed valid by UGC. Make sure your university is recognised by UGC and check particular SET exam eligibility on the official website for absolute eligibility.

Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi offers only M.A in English course and for that also you will have to appear and get good score in CUET (PG).
You will have to attend the classes and maintain at least 67% attendance for appearing in the Semester exams.
