AJK MCRC is a premier educational centre affiliated with Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). It offers a two-year MA at the PG level. PSSOU Bilaspur offers MA in various disciplines. The duration for this course ranges between 2-4 years. The eligibility criteria for PSSOU Bilaspur MA admission is Graduation in any discipline from any recognised university. Admissions to MA in PSSOU are completely based on merit scores obtained by the students in graduation. Hence, the university does not accept application in absence of final results of the qualifying degree.

To be eligible for an MA in Folklore Studies at Gauhati University, you need a Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) with a major or general course in any language/literature discipline or social sciences, and a minimum of 50% marks in your degree course. Graduates with Folklore as a major/general subject will be given preference.
