No, the Pharm D course does not directly qualify you for MD programs, which are typically reserved for MBBS graduates.

However, if you are really passionate about the course, you may still explore related postgraduate medical programs like MD in Clinical Pharmacology or other specialised courses that align with your PharmD background.

It's crucial to research the specific eligibility criteria and entrance exams required for these programs in India.

Yes, with a DM in Cardiology, one acquires skill in the performance of procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, and PTMCs. All these interventions involve introducing wires through the wrist or thigh up to the heart—very specialized skills that not all cardiologists possess.
After DM, most cardiologists seek fellowships or FNB in Interventional Cardiology to learn and master these techniques.
Further, to specialize as a Cardiac Surgeon, one needs an MS/DNB in General Surgery followed by an MCh/DNB in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Most popular of these fields such as Dermatology and radiology tend to fall on the higher side of this cost scale.
