No doing an MD in General Medicine followed by a DM in Cardiology does not qualify you to perform open heart surgeries. That path leads to becoming an Interventional Cardiologist - who treats heart conditions using non surgical catheter based procedures (like angioplasty/stents). To perform open heart surgeries you must train as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon.

Hope this helped your query! All the best!

Yes, you can definitely pursue MD after BHMS.

It is possible to do specialisation in an area of Medicine through MD courses. Specialization can bring deepening of knowledge and particular skill development in a specific field such as Pediatrics, Dermatology, or Psychiatry. Having a degree in MD opens more career opportunities than with just a BHMS.

The seats intake for MDS in Oral Pathology and Microbiology is only 2 at Bhojia Dental college and Hospital. So seeing the seats intake, it may be difficult for any student to get admission. The entrance exam scores which are accepted for this course are NEET MDS, HP NEET PG etc. Along with this, the student need to have a BDS from a recognised university.
