The University of Rajasthan has defined a reservation policy to be followed for admission to its various courses, including MEd. As per the UNIRAJ reservation policy, the university reserves seats for several underserved categories to promote fair opportunity in admissions. Candidates seeking admission to the University of Rajasthan MEd programme must first do an eligibility check. Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria must register for the PBMET exam. It is a state-level entrance test conducted by Kota University. Next, they must appear for the exam at the scheduled date.

Once the Rajasthan PBMET exam results are announced, students must participate in the university-level seat allocation process. Those who get a seat must complete the document verification process. Upon successful verification, pay the admission fee to secure the admission.

As per the Rajasthan University's NIRF report 2023, a total of 242 students were placed during the PG two-year placement drive conducted in 2022. Moreover, the median package offered to PG-two-year students stood at INR 6.35 LPA. Earlier, in 2021, a total of 1,749 PG-two-year students were placed.

The subjects taught in the University of Rajasthan MEd programme deal with topics such as educational psychology, instructional design, curriculum development, classroom management, etc. These types of topics help students prepare for a future in academics. Yes, as per the official brochure, the University of Rajasthan does reserve seats for SC/ST candidates willing to enroll into the MEd programme. As per the university's rules of reservation, a total of 28% of seats are reserved for the SC/ST candidates. Out of this, 16% and 12% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe candidates, respectively.

The University of Rajasthan offers a total of 485 seats for admission to the MEd programme. Thus, a total of 485 students can enroll in the MEd programme in one academic year. Some of the seats are offered by the affiliated colleges, including Sri Balaji Teachers Training College, Shri Agrasen Post Graduate College of Education, etc.
