At the time of filling out the MEd. application form at KJ Somaiya School of Education, candidates are required to attach several types of documents. Moreover, at the time of the document verification process, candidates are required to present certain types of documents. The names of the important documents are:

  • Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate
  • Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate
  • First, second and third-year marksheet
  • Scorecard of PERA CET BEd/ M.Ed or MAH CET BEd/ MEd (For BEd and MEd)
  • CGPA certificate
  • Gap certificate (if applicable)

Yes, candidates can get admissions to MEd courses at KJ Somaiya School of Education through  MAH-MEd-CE. However, this is neither a compulsory entrance exam nor the only exam that the school accepts for admissions to the MEd. KJSSED also accepts scores from several other entrance exams, such as CUET/ PERA-MEd-CET/ any other state level MEd CET.

The primary eligibility criteria required by the school to get admission into the MEd course is candidates must complete BEd/ BA BEd/ BSc BEd/ BElEd/ DElEd with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Moreover, the selection process is based on entrance exams. Therefore, the school accepts the relevant scores from MAH-MEd-CET/ CUET/ PERA-MEd-CET/ any other state level MEd CET. Followed by a PI.

Yes, KJ Somaiya College of Education does offer MEd courses for the duration of two years, divided into four semesters and offered in full-time mode. The eligibility requirement for admission to the MEd course is that candidates must complete their BEd/ BA BEd/ BSc BEd/ BElEd/ DElEd with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

PCB students can do MEd only after completing their Bachelor level studies in either Arts, Commerce, or Science stream. After completing the B.Ed course, the students can go for the M.Ed. Another way would be to complete a Diploma in Elementary Education or B. P. Ed course
