Every University has their own set of selection criteria. English Proficiency scores are one of the very important aspect of the criteria. IELTS and TOEFL are accepted by ETH Zurich. The MS Course at ETH Zurich eligibility criteria:
- A UG degree with a minimum (180 ECTS)
- Good extracurricular activities
- IELTS with 7+, TOEFL with 100+ score
- An updated CV or a resume
- letters of recommendation
- GRE/GMAT (applicable for Management and Finance courses)

No, it is not free of cost to apply for MS Courses at University of Melbourne. According to the application process, the students are required to apply via University's online portal – University of Melbourne Application or through an agent. The application process requires a non-refundable amount of application fee that of AUD 154 which is roughly INR 10.28 K.
