Columbia University does not set any minimum eligible scores for international students willing to join the master's programs. However, it is recommended to aim score above 320 on the GRE and over 700 on GMAT for successful admission. In addition, students who scored or performed well academically and were involved in relevant internships may get some sort of relief in standardized test scores. Also, students must be involved in internships, research work, and industry projects to strengthen their application. The technical programs demand prior experience in mathematics or relevant fields.

Getting an opportunity in the USA universities to study an MS in Computer Science is not as easy as it looks. Students must prove themselves eligible enough to get this opportunity. They must aim for a strong GPA score of a minimum 3 on 4 point scale, and gain relevant work experience in coding projects, research, or internships. Students must hold a well-structured statement of purpose highlighting their goals, achievements, and personal qualities. In addition, students must showcase their leadership quality in student clubs, hackathons, which can add value.
