With score of 178 marks in CUET PG SCQP25, you may be eligible for admission in reputable government colleges like Central University of Punjab, BHU, or University of Allahabad for MSc in Plant Biotechnology or Botany, particularly under reserved categories.
It may seem a it tough for the unreserved categories but others do have a chance.
You should also keep looking at the merit list released by the colleges.

For the regular full-time M.Sc. Botany program at Bharathidasan University (main campus, Tiruchirappalli) for the 2025–2026 session, no separate entrance exam is conducted. Admission is based on undergraduate (B.Sc.) merit, and the process is handled through their official online admission portal .

Hey! Andhra University (School of Distance Education, Vizag) offers a 2-year M.Sc Botany in distance mode. You need a B.Sc with Botany (or related) to apply. The fee is about Rs. 17k per year + additional 1k for examination per year. The degree is awarded by Andhra University and is UGC-DEB recognized. You apply online through the AU Distance Education portal, and they provide study materials plus occasional contact sessions.

The M.Sc program is a 2 year course it is a Post graduate program like M.Sc Botany at the University of Madras, Guindy Campus.
The timings are usually from 9 am to 4-5pm from Monday to Friday. But still it depends on the department and semester and the particular year as per the schedule
