Master's degrees from Germany are usually categorized as either consecutive or non-consecutive. Those in the first category are designed to build on the academic knowledge gained during a related Bachelor's degree. Non-consecutive programs tend to have a greater focus on professional development often requiring applicants to have both an undergraduate degree and some relevant work experience. Most of the Master's degree in Germany take four semesters (two years) to complete. Though some are shorter or longer. Hi Meenu,
For studying in Germany, you must first of all have a very good percentage. Admission requirements are different with different universities, you have to check the university websites before applying but generally, you must take the IELTS and a German language proficiency test depending on the university.

MS Computer Science in German universities is offered as engineering PG degree. You are not eligible for MS Computer Science as you have completed only 10+2+3 years education against requirement of 10+2+4 years of education for seeking admission in MS in German Universities.

They mostly rely on GRE, based on GRE score, it's good to join MS industrial engineering. They prefer GRE and their test for MS in Germany.

Hi Guru Prasad,
The main criteria is to complete your Bachelor degree with very good grades. German universities only accept a brilliant students. Along with it, you must have a strong research profile. Take IELTS too. You can consider taking GATE but not compulsory.

First of all, for MS, you profile matters the most. Whatever the project you handled, work experience or internships make your MS plan bit easier. Even if your profile is not that amazing, still there's a chance so that you should score GRE impressively (320+ is better). Your good SOP (statement of Purpose), well defined letter of recommendation from at least two universities will help you to be considered that you're capable of handling the program they offer. For MS in Germany, you need the following:
At least 70-75% from a reputed Indian university. You need to appear for GRE (for some Universities) and a score of above 300 should do the needful. Also, it can boost a student's profile if he or she appears for the course even though the university has not requested for it. IELTS (6.0) or TOEFL(100) is also required. You may apply through daaddelhi.org.
