Hi, there are several central universities like DU, BHU, PU, Rajasthan, Ranchi, Hyderabad, and other state universities, CMI, IMSC, IISER. Some private universities also provide Masters's programme in pure Math, Stats, Applied Math. North region Chandigarh University can also be a good option. It has good Nirf and QS ranking among private universities in India.

Different universities conduct their own entrance examination for admission to M.Sc. Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a national-level examination that is held once a year. For admission to the MSc Mathematics programme at Chandigarh University, you need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria of having a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
