In order to pursue an MSc Physics at IIT Delhi or any other IIT you typically need a background in Physics and Mahematics during your UG studies.

You generally cannot get admission to MSc. Physics in IIT's without having studied Mathematics during your BSc. It is a vital requirements for the eligibility for the IIT JAM exam and the MSc. Physics program.

No, admission to MSc Medical Physics at Bharathiar University is not done based on the scores obtained in any entrance exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have passed graduation in a relevant stream from a reputed University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

The last date for submitting applications for the 2024-25 batch was 6 June 2025. The applications for 2025-26 are currently open.

SPC Puttur has 45 seats for the MSc in Physics programme. Candidates are admitted in this course as per sanctioned seat intake and merit in the last qualifying examination. The college may follow the reservation policy as prescribed by the state or central government. It must be noted that the mentioned intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is however, still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

While it isn't a compulsion to opt for MSc programs, experts do recommend spending a few extra bucks and pursue a Master's program.
