You can join some research organisation, or companies into research, or clear GATE/NET and join Ph.D. with a good lab. Also you can join for as a JRF in a lab and enroll for Ph.D. Next best option is to take up a course in clinical research/ medical coding and getting yourself employed more rapidly. Both the industries pay you handsome salary. Actually the former is the equivalent of IT jobs in our industry. There is a lot of scope and if you dedicate yourself properly in a decade you will find yourself in a great position career wise and finance wise. The next best option is to identify a problem and solve it through a start up.

You can do either of them as both of them have excellent opportunities. But, there would be a difference in some or the other factors. Master's if you pursue even from the top colleges of the country, your compensation will not be as high as someone who has done his or her MBA from any top college of the country. This is not a gospel truth but this is most likely to happen in most of the cases. Now, with regards to work experience in MBA, believe me having and not having work experience have their own advantages and disadvantages.

After Chemistry, all the general career options are open, like banking/Civil Services/Teaching/government jobs, etc. But, as you are a chemistry student and want to make your career future in chemistry only, then the options are different, like you can apply for Industries (where demand of chemists is always high), you can qualify GATE with high rank and can get into PSUs like ONGC, BHEL, etc. and can earn a handsome salary.
