Also, you may apply for private universities as the pay scale is almost the same for recognised universities. Less preferable option is to start teaching in some coaching centers of IIT-JEE or PMT, while they pay huge amount but personally I don't like this option. One of the best options is to prepare for geophysicists exam organised by UPSC.
Also, there are irregular vacancies advertised by state public commission for various scientific posts in forensic labs and all but they might require you some lab work experience in the particular field. One more option is to apply for scientific assistant posts in various autonomous institutes like IISERs and others.

By pursuing a Master's degree you can get a job in pharmaceutical companies, food and dairy industries as a quality control employer, medical coder and the status increases with experience. Usually the payments are higher in pharma companies
You can work as a college temporary teacher, researcher and as a lab assistant after your M.Sc. Programme. You have many more opportunities if you do specialisation in a particular subject such as medical microbiology, clinical microbiology, immunology and geo-microbiology. In other countries like U. S microbiologist are considered next to doctors and they have a huge package there. But for Indians microbiology is still a developing subject and you can't expect a handsome package here.

Mathematician - You can choose to pursue research (become a scientist) in your area of interest in maths and if you choose research, you can go into the teaching sector also. Check out institutes like TIFR-Mumbai, IMSc-Chennai, Harish Chandra Research Institute-Allahabad.
Chartered Accountancy - If you like auditing, taxes and accounting, you can think of preparing for CA too.
Banking - Banking is another sector that you can get into with mathematics.
Actuarial Sciences - If you love data and maths, actuarial sciences would be a great field for it.
Data Analysis/Operations Analysis/Project Development - If you want to work in the private sector, you can look at these profiles.
Military Operations - Mathematics degree would also allow you to work in the military sector, scientists are always required to work with military and development (DRDO, ISRO, NAL, SETS, etc.). You can also join the navy as a Commissioned Officer in their education or logistics branch.
