Total seats for M.Sc Biotechnology in MBT are 60 so getting a merit no. under 100 is the best chance to get a confirmed seat.
The cut-off rank is under 100.
If you have a rank higher than this then you have very less chances of getting a seat for M.Sc.

Yes, that is the eligibility for an M.Sc Student. You can definitely appear for the GATE exam.
