You don't have to be blank after doing M.Sc biotechnology. Biotechnology is a vast field and there are 'n' no of options after doing this course. You can go for lectureship but for that you need to crack net exam. If you are really interested in the subject you can write the NET exam and work as a lecturer, by doing this you will be getting time for preparing for many entrance exams for PhD and you can earn money on your own.

I really don't think so because you need to have studied statistics as core/general subject in one of the years of graduation. But since now you need to write entrance test, if you clear it then you can get the admission.

Hi Chirasha,
Unfortunately, no, only a graduate with at least 55% marks is considered eligible to apply for this course. Diploma holders are not eligible.
