Yes, students enrolled in the MS and MD courses offered by the GIMSR are required to submit a thesis. The topic of the thesis must revolve around their chosen specialisation. Moreover, this project work is to be successfully submitted at least six months before the theory and clinical/practical examination. A candidate shall only be allowed to appear for the theory and practical/clinical examination only after the acceptance of the thesis by the examiners.

MDSU Ajmer starts its new academic session in July for its MSc programme. All the admission formalities end in June and the new academic session starts shortly afterwards. Candidates who want to take admission into the MSc programme at the university should make sure they have applied after they have graduated and complete the admission formalities by June once they get selected.

At the time of admission, candidates have to pay a small non-refundable application fee of INR 300. This fees is to before some part of the tuition fee is paid. The application fee remains constant be it any affiliated college a candidate wants to take admission in. The tuition fee varies as per the affiliated college and the course chosen. MDSU Ajmer MSc tuition fees is in the range of INR 7,500 - INR 1.44 lakh.

If we compare the MSc programmes of both the universities we will see that MDSU Ajmer offers more varied MSc courses in terms of tuition fees, while Mohan Lal Sukhadia University has offeres a higher median package in the last placement round. The tuition fees of MDSU Ajmer MSc is INR 7,500 - INR 1.44 Lacs with a median salary of INR 3 LPA, whereas, for Mohanlal Sukhadia University it is INR 16,390 - INR 63,850 with a median salary of INR 3.2 LPA.
