According to the official website of the institute, K.S. Hedge Medical Academy accepts the scores of BSc degrees for admissions to MSc courses. For admissions to MSc courses, the eligibility criteria to get admission is that candidates must complete their BSc degree similar to the specialisation they want to pursue/MBBS with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The acceptance of entrance scores for admissions to MSc courses is not explicitly mentioned on the official website of the institute.

According to the information available on the Shikhsa platform, K.S. Hedge Medical Academy offers a total number of five specialisations in MSc courses. On the other hand, Kasturba Medical College offers eight specialiastions in MSc courses. Hence, KMC Karnataka offers more MSc specialsiations. However, Kastrurba Medical College offers MSc courses in other fields too apart from the health and Science fields. The names of the MSc specialisation offered in health & science-related fields at KMC are MSc in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Pharmacology.

KS Hegde Medical College is a constituent college of the Nitte  (Deemed to be University), and the college follows the admission process according to the universityThere is no provision mentioned on the official website of the university that guarantees direct admissions to PG courses. Hence, candidates are required to follow the complete application process of the course, which states candidates must complete their BSc degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Further, the admission process is merit-based.
