GATE results will be accepted by IIT Bombay for admission to the M.Tech programme. Candidates must secure at least 60% of the total marks (55% of the total marks for SC/ST/PwD category) in any of the following degrees: BE, B.Tech, B.Sc., Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning, M.Sc., MCA, MBBS, M.Pharm, B.Pharma, BDS or a recognised qualification equivalent to BE or B.Tech.

M.Tech is PG ( post graduation) level education, student must have atleast 60% or more than 60% marks in their graduation. The fee structure is around INR 12,000 and duration of M.Tech course is 2 year. During M.Tech they offer internships and placements. .

Candidates who have minimum 50% aggregate in graduation, and a valid score in PGECET/ GATE exam, can apply for M.Tech admission at GIET Engineering College. MTech course is available in four specialisations which are Structural Engineering, Computer Science, Power Systems, CAD / CAM.

No, you are not eligible to pursue an Integrated M.Tech course at VIT Vellore if you have completed your 12th from NIOS. The eligibility criteria clearly states that candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply for the Integrated M.Tech programmes. Applicants from Open University / Correspondence mode are not eligible.
