M.Tech Eligibility

A Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technology from an approved university or institute is generally required to be qualified for the M.Tech program at BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. The candidates' eligibility degree should have needed to obtain a minimum aggregate score between 50 to 60%. Moreover, aspirants might just have to turn up for admission tests such as the institute entrance exam or the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). Likewise, specific departments might demand relevant industry job experience. 

The eligibility for M.Tech offered by NCET is as follows:

The first being the candidate who has passed qualifying examination (i.e., BE/B.Tech Degree) in the relevant discipline and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% of marks (for General Candidates) and 45% (for SC, ST and Cat-I candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to M.Tech programs. (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidate)

The second being, the candidates must appear for a mandatory entrance examination PGCET after which, a merit list will be notified by the college.

To be eligible for admission in NMAM for M.Tech,

1. Educational Qualification: must have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).

2. Entrance Exam: Candidates must qualify in the Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT).

 A bachelor's degree: Applicants must have a master's degree in the field of engineering and technology or equivalent qualifications from an approved college. Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying examination. Entrance Exam: Candidates must have a valid score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) relevant to the M.Tech specialisation they are applying for.

For admission to M.Tech programme at Ellenki College of Engineering and Technology, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility & selection criteria conditions:

Candidates with BTech or BE/ MCA/ MSc/ Graduation (AMIETE) with 60% aggregate or 6.0 CPI are eligible for the M.Tech in IIT Guwahati. Further, there is 0.5% CPI or 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST/PwD category candidates. Candidates must also have valid score in the national level exam GATE exam and they must also participated in the COAP Counselling (GATE not required for the sponsored category). 

Eligibility criteria for M.Tech in Dream Institute of Technology are:

1. B.Tech from AICTE approved institute or equivalent 
2. Qualification in entrance exam held through PGET

The minimal eligibility requirement for General category candidates seeking admission to IIT Madras' M.Tech programme is a 60% aggregate graduation mark. Candidates must additionally pass the GATE exam with a valid score in order to be eligible. The board creates a merit list based on the GATE score, and seats are subsequently offered to candidates based on the institute's seat availability. 

At the PG level, Bikaner Technical University provides a 2 year M.Tech program to its students. Admission is through counseling based on the score obtained in Centralized Admissions in M.Tech. (CAM) conducted by Rajasthan Technical University. Candidates having a valid GATE score will be given preference.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Master of Engineering (M.Tech) programme at Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology (SCET) are as follows:

Candidates must have passed B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC category).

A valid GATE score is compulsory for admission to the M.Tech programme at SCET.

Therefore, to be eligible for M.Tech admission at SCET, candidates need to have a relevant engineering degree with the specified minimum marks and a valid GATE score.
