For being eligible for this course, candidate must have a recognized undergraduate degree in B.Tech/ BE in Aeronautical or allied branches. The minimum required percentage is 50% in graduation. However, it may differ from institute to institute. The preferred mode to take admission for M.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering is entrance exam. Generally, the scores of PGCENT, TANCENT and GATE are accepted for admissions in M.Tech Aeronautical Engineering. However, some universities may conduct their own entrance test. M.Tech is a post graduate course in engineering and B.Sc is graduation course in Science. A student can think of doing his PG in the stream in which he / she has done graduation. I am afraid you are not eligible. Best wishes to you.

Aerospace Engineers would normally be employed by organisations / institutions carrying out research work in the field of aerospace. Primarily ISRO and to some extent DRDO are the main two which will be providing employment to MTech's in this field. In fact your institute has been funded / sponsered by ISRO. Private industry has also started entering this field albeit in small steps presently but is expected to take strong strides in the days to come is also expected to chip in as probable employer. Your job would be research oriented work.
Best wishes to you.

I can understand your angst and apprehension. But I am afraid eligibility for doing M Tech is graduation in engineering. As your qualification remains B.Sc. You will not be allowed to do your M Tech in agriculture. However, you can do your M.Sc. In agriculture. Its as good a qualification as M.Tech as far as job prospects go.
Best wishes to you.
