Dear,
M.Tech courses in India is only available to those who had B.E /B.Tech. So, instead of thinking of M.Tech, you can proceed for some better courses which you can get easily with good GATE score.

In older times, many people have taken the distance education route for their graduation and for post-graduation in engineering but recently University Grants Commission has declared that no professional course can be offered by any of the universities via distance learning mode. Hello Archana,
Fees for M.Tech programmes are dependent on the institution, its reputation and the course selected. On top of it, private colleges have discretionary quota of management seats. There is no embargo on how much fees colleges can charge. However, a good negotiator would be able to reduce it quite a bit. I would put my figure at around Rs 2 lacs per year for this course.
Best wishes to you.

Hi Kruthika, as per the government norms and AICTE regulations you cannot pursue technical degrees via distance learning mode. You need to attend the regular classes to get a full-time course certificate. There is nothing like a part-time course. So try to attend full-time course to get all the benefits. Also M.S Ramaiya doesn't provide a part-time or distance learning programme for M.Tech courses.
Best wishes.
