The different course eligibility for BTech and M.Tech at Indian Institute of Technology Jammu admissions is as shown here:

  • BTech: Pass Class 10 & Class 12 with a minimum score of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
  • MTech: Graduate from a recognised University (in a relevant degree) with a minimum score of 65% (60% for reserved categories) or a CGPA of 6.5 (6 for reserved) out of 10.

Interested candidates must know their course eligibility for their preferred course and apply accordingly.

IIIT Kottayam has specified a minimum aggregate of 60% in graduation from any recognised institute/ university for admission to the M.Tech programme. Candidates with 80% in graduation, typically have a decent chance at securing admission to the institute.

The course fees for the BTech and M.Tech programmes at Institute of Information Technology Sri City consists largely of tuition fees being:

  • Around INR 1.65 Lakhs per semester for the 4-year BTech programme.
  • While the M.Tech tuition fees are around INR 1.25 Lakhs per semester for the 2-year programme.

Students may also have other extra charges such as examination fees, security deposit, etc.

There are a no. of specialisations offered for M.Tech course at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, MSRUAS. Students can choose any of the specialisations, whichever suits to their career goals. However, the Data Science and Engineering is widely famous among students.

Yes, Faculty of Engineering and Technology conducts the RUAT Admission Test/ RUASAT for admission to the Masters in engineering course. The M.Tech course aspirants can take this exam to secure a seat. To apply for this test, aspirants can visit the MSRUAS official website. Moreover, the university also accepts national exam scores. The accepted exams are GATE/ CUET PG.

Faculty of Engineering and Technology, MSRUAS M.Tech course is available in multiple specialisations. Thus, students can compare the colleges and institutions that offer similar specialisations. Also, there are a lot of other factors that can be considered for comparing the institutes/ colleges and that are decided according to the students' preferences.

The faculty has a total of 96 seats for the M.Tech courses. In addition, the seat count can vary from one course specialisation to another. The university allot seats through a counselling process. Additionally, the seat allotment is done based on applicants scores in the accepted exams. The seat intake mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
