IITs and NITs are most preferred by the students and experts recommend the same. The job opportunities are humongous, but in other institutes, it is very tad.

Hello,
Yes, you can do M.Tech after completing B.Sc. But, you have to clear entrance exam to get into a college for M.Tech.
You can try to get admission in:
1. IIT's
2. NIT's
3. IISc – Bangalore.
4. Birla Institute of Technology - BIT Mishra.
5. Anna University.
You can also prepare for IIT JAM entrance test to pursue M.Sc or dual degree courses from IIT's or IISc like:
1. M.Sc (Two year).
2. Joint M.Sc - Ph.D.
3. M.Sc - Ph.D dual degree.
4. M.Sc - M.Tech.
5. Post Bachelor degree courses at different IITs.
6. Integrated Ph.D courses at IISC.
I hope it helps.

It's better to prepare for GATE and secure a seat for M.Tech rather than joining a college which will give you degree but that will be of no use.
