Hello Rajat,
Government colleges are the only economical colleges in India. You can get admission into those colleges only through GATE examination. There are state level entrance examinations as well, but those are for private colleges which are not economical.

M.Tech in mechanical, automobile and robotics are some good options. Opt for the engineering branch that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyse the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission.
You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of aptitude, personality and career interest to clear confusion.

Hi,
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is to ensure quality and reliability of industrial products. There is a constant demand for qualified NDT professionals in manufacturing industries. Admission to M.Tech (NDT) is based on GATE score in NITs. The eligibility criteria is either M.Sc (physics, material science, applied physics) or B.Tech./B.E. (mechanical, metallurgy and production). You are not eligible for M.Tech (NDT). You are advised to apply for M.Tech NDT after completing your M.Sc physics and appearing for GATE.
