Aeronautical engineering is available only in IIT and not in any NIT. So if you are thinking of admission in any NIT based on JEE Mains percentile, I am afraid it's not possible but based on your performance in JEE Mains only you can appear for JEE Advanced which is the entrance exam for getting admission in IIT. Chances are low. Try for other private colleges.
All the best.

I am afraid that getting admission for second year after passing of Diploma directly in a college is almost not possible these days. One needs to apply through the centralized admission process that most state governments have put in place. In the case of Tamil Nadu, Anna University is the agency, which is responsible for centralized admission process for the state government. Hence you need to register yourself on the web portal of Anna University for lateral admission. Best wishes to you.

It depends upon which category you belong to. If it's general, you will need at least 198. If it's BC then 196 and 194 for BCM. 195 for MBC and 190 for SC/ST.
