Every college has it's own reputation and standard.
SIMS is no doubt one of the best college in but MITSOB is also one of those best colleges in Pune. MITSOB follows case based learning which exposes every students to corporate world and allow them to understand the problem faced by various companies in every field.

As of 2016, the placement seems a bit precarious, true, but understand that you shall be passing out in 2018. I recommend you do a comparison of NICMAR with your other viable options in terms of growth. Generally people here target the second company rather than the first placement. When you pass out of NICMAR, you get a tag of being at a premiere institute and the actual worth comes to play when you shift after working for 2 to 3 years at your first placed company. The jump you shall receive, generally trumps the placements and opportunities opened up by other similar institutes.

Hi, if you dont have a domicile of maharashtra, you'll be admitted on all India score. The cut off for the rank is under 50. The percentile cutoff is 99.9x. The only disadvantage is that there are only 27 all India seats.
