Bachelor's degree programs in marine engineering introduce students to basic concepts of marine propulsion, fluid dynamics and ship design. Master's and doctoral programs in the field cover advanced topics in materials science, managing engineering projects and electrical power systems.

There is absolutely no need to do BE before joining marine Engineering. The admission to marine engineering is to be taken after 12th after taking one of the required entrance exams.

DTE of tech education of almost every state give eligibility for admission in lateral mode for diploma holders. You need to visit this page of your state to know details that run into many pages. Alternatively, just ring up your prospective institute's admin section and seek status.
