The entrance examination for marine engineering is organised at National level for admitting students to various colleges in the country. You can join marine engineering course by be part in the AIEEE. You can also attend IIT JEE, MERI, IMU CET, AICET, etc. to secure admission for engineering course

I think your experience is enough and you don't need any course for that.

AMET University, Samundra Institute of Maritime studies, International Maritime Institute are the good colleges for GME.

I am not sure to say about the date but I will tell about the exam who conducted for marin engineering AICET, MERI, IMU CET and IIT JEE.

IMU is a central government sponsored institution. It offers degrees in marine as well as many other related topics. Admission is easy, if you have studied well for their entrance exam.

Every branch has their own importance. If you want to become a software engineer, then you can go for CSE or IT branch. Whereas, if you want to pursue aeronautics, then you can go for aeronautical engineering.
