Hi Vertika!
In 2013, the university had decided to do away with the entrance test and interview for selecting students for this course. Now, admissions for this course are taken on the cut-off list basis.

Hi Jaitr,
Both are good courses and have wide scope. However, mass communication is a wide subject that not only covers the topic of filmmaking but even more than that. Filmmaking has just a limited reach to direction, production, etc. Mass communication covers each and every aspect. If you only want to get a proficiency in film making and looking forward to make it your career than go for it. But if you want to cover all other major fields like journalism, photography, public relations, etc. then go for mass communication.

85% marks in English was the eligibility criteria to be able to fill the form, for the General Category for BMC. If you score less than that in English, there isn't much that you can do as it is the basic eligibility criteria. However it was the criteria last year, you can keep checking the college website for the criteria of this year. It might change.

Hi Bikram!
The entrance criteria differ from institute to institute. Please check with the institute itself where you are interested to pursue the course in order to rule out any confusion.
