No, UPES doesn't have any specified course for mass communication neither in Undergraduate nor in Postgraduate. However, that is taught throughout in each course offered.

Photography is not a traditional subject that you or I can get in a University Degree. Most Often, we get it in Mass Comm/ Mass Media or Journaism Degrees. People Doing Film Making or related Electronic Media studies also get to do this SUBJECT.
But MOST of the People doing Photography on a Large Scale are the ones who did not do a degree but pursued the INTEREST!
You have interest, keep it active and join people who do photography. At your B.Sc. Institution as well you can showcase your SKILLS of Photography.
If you are just Interested and have never tried to enhance your skills of photography, then you need to do hardwork in this.

Not Really. The reason it that Mass Communication (particularly Graduation or even Post graduation) does not demand a PROPER Training in advance. One has to be vigilant, active and must possess good communication skills for a job in Journalism.
Science background will be in fact a Support because in the research part the Statistics and Surveys will need calculations. Your Knowledge of Science and tech will also help you in your work after doing Journalism.
