Yes, film and video production are the part of mass communication, but it also depends on the various institutions how they provide the course. Some universities come up with special papers which include aforesaid topics, and some universities come up with these topics as mandatory in the mass communication courses. So it is completely related to mass communication. Many universities provide good placements of such agencies which offers a good amount of salary. Good luck.

I feel sorry to inform you that IIMC only offers PG courses. So, I would suggest that yu should do mass communication from IP University. It is a good option in which you can decide your specification for post graduation from IIMC like PG in advertising marketing, PG in film making, PG in journalism/ PR, etc.

Admission for BA in Journalism from DU is done on merit basis and admission for BJMC in IPU is done on the basis of Common Entrance Tests which you have to qualify and once you qualify the same, it will further lead to counselling in which you will select your college/institute on the basis of credit scored. Forms will be available from last week of January or mid-February. Minimum 15000/- per project. The amount varies (depending upon the nature of the programme) as small projects take hardly one or two days.
