Any top university like Oxford would require you to be academically very strong. Therefore, you need to work hard on your academics and perform very well in your Masters. Since you want to do mass communication, you can also think about an internship in the same field and also improve your profile by doing some related project work, write in journals, freelancing, etc. You must also take the IELTS to study in UK. You must also visit university websites for a better idea about the know-how of the admission processes. You have lots of time. So utilize it to the fullest and prepare.

Hi Shivam,
Talking about journalism, the top colleges in India follow the same curriculum that NIMC does just the difference is you live them practically here. You go out in the streets, talk to people, gather information, make news and then publish your own newspaper here in our very own institution. All I can say in a mass communication college you won't find any focus on journalism up to the level because the course is vast and time is less. 1 month dedicated time slot is being given for the subjects.
