Both mass media and video editing course are good and skillful. May be what you are saying could be there. But it will be a challenging one. You will be surrounded by the burden.
So be careful, first go for graduation course than look out for other one

It's okay if you are not selected in IIMC, there are still many opportunities for you to grab. For mass communication course you may go to IIMT College, AAFT, Sharda University, Galgotia University, Jamia milia islamia, Delhi University, IMS, etc.
These are good. All the best.

I don't know the actual reason behind this. But there are some advertisements available there on the site (maybe). May be they think themselves to be very much popular due to which they don't find any reason to promote themselves.
But I will suggest you that if you are looking for admission there than once visit the college. Talk to the faculty. May be this will help you a little bit to set their image in your mind.

It's up to you that what you choose. If you prefer to learn from distance of course it should be considered as distance learning, but if you choose to regularly visit college and study there than degree must not contain distance learning.
If it's in distance learning than may be the degree you will get will be off distance learning.
However, I have heard about Amity that there degree carries distance learning even if you have completed your graduation normally. But I am not sure about it. You may visit the college and confirm this issue.
If you need any help you can contact me anytime as I have also done BJMC.
