Earlier the mass communication and journalism were separate courses, but now they have come under the same roof. Now, journalism is being considered as one of the best fields in mass communication. Some colleges provide it as BMC and some as BJMC, there's no difference.

Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communications (B.J.M.C) is a 3 year duration undergraduate program for students who wish to pursue their career in Journalism and media industry. The eligibility of this course is 10+2 or equivalent with 50% marks from a recognized university or board. Average fees for this course will be incurred from Rs. 50,000 to 1, 00,000 depending on the institute offering this course
After clearing the entrance exam, counseling or group discussion will be done as per the schedule of the college. On the basis of skills and abilities candidate will be shortlisted for admission.
