Yes, you can make your career in photography field, there are many Diploma courses available, where you can apply. The most important thing that you need to keep in mind, is attend as much as photography exhibitions and events, so that you can get the small brief about different phase of photography and participate to get knowledge. Be focused on your goal with photography course give your time to your graduation. The second option for you, is that you can apply for BJMC that is Bachelor's in journalism and mass communication, where you will get the idea about photography as well as many other subjects which can help you in future.

Just like any other educational course, in order to be eligible for mass communication course, you should meet the minimum eligibility criteria. While the selection process conducted by various colleges (Which includes interviews, group discussion, and written tests) determines your eligibility for a particular media or mass communication course at a university. Eligibility criteria for majority of universities or institutes offering Master of journalism & mass communication is passed in any under-graduate degree conducted by a recognised university or any other examination recognised as equivalent. It is preferable to do BJMC if your long term goal is to do MJMC.
