Today PGDM and MBA is treated as same and same salary is being offered to the candidates but inthe long run, a Degree is considered more important than a Diploma in certain cases. After you join any industry or start job then only your experience matters. Degree and Diploma is considered in starting phase only. If you have option for Degree then you must go for a Degree course.

A post graduation degree in journalism can lead to becoming a host. But to get into these channels, you should be confident enough in front of the camera. And directly getting a job as a travel host is not as easy as it seems. You will have to earn experience as a travel host and then you can probably try in these channels.

If you wish to become a reporter, the only think that you should keep in mind is you should be on your toes. The job security comes at the later stage when it comes to journalism. If you wish to get into a secure job, get into writing after journalism.
