It is same as BA in journalism. History of media, print media, electronic media production and camera works, communication skills, developmental communication, public relation, etc. are being taught considering B.Sc as a foundation degree.
I would suggest you to pursue BA in journalism, often called Bachelor of journalism and mass communication (BJMC).

Hi,
He should apply for Bachelors of journalism and mass communication (BJMC). This course include photography and mass education. He can apply for this course after completing class 12th and it is a 3 year course.

I would suggest you go for a regular course, so you can lean something. A distance course doesn't teach you the practicalities.
