To become a news anchor, show host, analyst or a TV reporter, you need to have a bachelor's degree in mass comm, English, political science, psychology etc. You need not do a specific diploma or degree. The basic requirement are excellent inter-personal capability, very good oral and written communication, objectivity, determination, familiarity with video and digital cameras and mobile broadcasting equipment, ability to use social media applications and database programs such as Microsoft Access and FileMaker Pro. The minimum percentage which almost all colleges look for is 50% in 12th standard. And now a days, almost all colleges and universities conduct entrance tests and on the basis of the same, the intake process of students is decided.
So do good in CBSE and then start preparing for entrance tests.
