Hello Sonali B.J. M. C. than HIMCOM should not be there in your list. As B.J. M. C. stands for Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication while HIMCOM doesn't offer this course. However, it offers degree course in mass communication or certificate programs in advertising, video production or video editing. If you are looking for journalism and mass communication together then its good to go for the colleges that offer the same. But if you can go with mass communication alone that HIMCOM could be considered as the option. Thank you.

Hello Priya
First choice is Government College, then, there's no issue. Wait for the next year. You may apply for the entrance exam for IP University. Or another way is to continue your three years full time B.J. M. C. from this private college and then after that, go for the Masters in journalism and mass communication from IP University
Thank you.

Hello Priyanka So, the basic criteria of every entrance test is to check a student on that basis. There are four aspects upon which questions are asked and these are current affairs, general knowledge, language, media knowledge and it's history. So, you have to prepare yourself according to that. Try to gain as much as knowledge you can.
Thank you.

Hello Mohan journalism is a vast field that requires your command at every topic. If you are opting for this course it doesn't mean you should be good at English. However, it needs proficiency in at least one language. If you prefer to speak Hindi and you want to work with Hindi newspaper or channel then try to polish your Hindi. Work on your vocabulary and command over this language. If one is not good at English that's not a big issue. But one must not be so new to this language, at least you should know a little of this language because many times journalists receive newsletter or invitations from business groups so, at that point,

Hello Jagriti
you would have to be very clear in terms of your knowledge and intellect. Don't think about the specific syllabus. You have to focus upon few things - prepare a good command over language (English and Hindi), build strong vocabulary, be habitual of reading newspaper daily, scroll the history like of printing, press, media and focus upon current affairs. Apart from this, college may provide you the list that what a student should prepare?
What is generally asked in exams is related to language (to check how fluent and good you are), general knowledge (try to read all the facts that are existing from past years as these are

Hello Riya First off, find your interest, that where your likings and zeal lie. The good option nowadays is of electronic media. You should opt for that because there are many chances of getting into a profession of a news anchor (if you really work hard and have the calibre to handle programme wholly at your shoulders). This is the best field that I consider too. Apart from this, you can opt out for public relation field or for advertising groups. There are other many creative chances. If you love to write and have the power in your words than try to become a writer/ journalist/script writer, etc. Thank you.

Hello Rashmi,

Sound and audio doesn't have much difference, both are identical. Sound or audio engineering is a profession in which an engineer works upon the mixing up of various sounds, overpower them, refines the audio, removes unnecessary noise, cleaning up etc. One who do this may be called as sound mixer, sound technician, and audio technician.
