The main elements of this profile include meticulous planning, creativity, relationship management, marketing, advertising and much more. No, college offers film-making course through distance. And even if you come across such institutes, pursuing film-making course through distance mode is of no use. Film-making is all about the practical learning. So, I would suggest you to go for a regular course.

You can get into Delhi University for pursuing mass communication. To get admission into the same, you will have to score minimum 60% in 12th and appear for the entrance examinations conducted by the colleges.

Dear Rajendra,
You can surely pursue a degree or a diploma course in Jounarlsim and mass communication if you are a graduate with minimum 60%. And, you will have to appear for entrance tests for getting admission in good colleges.

Actually, there is not a prescribed syllabus for FTII entrance. You should have a basic knowledge about what's happening around you.
1.Newspapers and Magazines
2. Art forms, folklore their origins.
3. Articles on films
4. CBSE textbooks on social sciences, chapters on cultural heritage.
5. Keep updated on National Awards, Oscars.
6. There must be some films or filmmakers about whom you can go on writing. Your favourite movie is a definite question.
7. Form a personal opinion on films.
The application forms will be out somewhere in the second week of June 2017.
