Since you are planning for MBA in media management so it's recommendable to look for admission in reputed private universities such as Amity, Jaipuria, Alliance, reason being they do have good industry connections and secondly they do organise number of events relating to your field through out the year that will give you an extra edge in learning about management skills in this field.

Shivangee if you have a knack management and have a liking for business you can go for BBA. If you like writing and interacting with people then go for mass comm.
BBA provides an insight on several of the managerial roles. Candidate will need to join the firms at the executive level. These candidates are preferred for positions like HR and also Finance. With experience they will be able to grow to higher heights.

Percentage obtained in class 12th does play an important role while taking admission, but these days colleges also have entrance exams, so you may try to get into colleges which have entrance tests.
