Opt for what you wish to do in the future. Speak to students who are studying both. Make a note of the pros and cons of both. Know the scope they have and then make a call.

Pratiksha,
There are several careers in the field of media in writing, production or post production. You can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D visualizations.
You may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. You can get into production, whether live or animated. Dear Vaybhav,
Marketing and Mass Communication are two different streams.
Marketing taught in B schools make you understand the aspects of how a prosuxt or a service is being promoted to increase it's reach and make it more popular.
On the other hand, Mass Communication involves journaliam, event management, media management, Public relations and much more.
Do not combine the two different streams and select wisely.
All the best!

You can definitely pursue MBA in Marketing Communication after BJMC. And along with that, you can enrol into digital marketing course as the course is very trending these days and will also help you to compete in the industry.

Shruti,
You can take minimum 5 subjects in 12th and maximum 8, But 8 is too much of pressure. Try to stick with 6 to keep it as a backup. 1 subject as a mandate will be English. You can take Political Science, History and Hindi (good for mass communication).
All the best.
