These admissions are not based exclusively on academic performance but on a host of other parameters. All the IITs, NITs, CFTIs and GFTIs are the cheapest colleges for pursuing the Master degree in Engineering in India. GATE is the mandatory requirement for pursuing Master degree courses in above colleges. If you are getting admission through GATE than you can also be eligible to received the stipend of Rs 12,400 per month from the government.

The basic eligibility criteria for getting Master degree in Engineering in India is to hold a Bachelor degree B.E/ B.Tech in respective disciplines. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE an entrance exam is another mandatory requirement for getting admission in India's top Engineering colleges.
