The IGNOU has been granted the authority to confer degrees by Clause 5 (1) (iii) of the IGNOU Act 1985. IGNOU is also recognised as a Central University by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC). You get an option to even setup your own NGO for Environmental purposes. Apart from this, you could take up further studies on environment and become an expert environmentalist as well. The PG or the Diploma would aid your career in some or other ways and won't go in vein. Moreover, you could be an author to various papers or opinion papers and you could be sited as an authority on environment as well. Thank you.

It as Cornell along with Brown, Standford, Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Columbia and Penn University form reputed and prestigious and the Elite IVY League, private higher education institutes of the US.

Distance PG is not much appreciated in the industry and is just held as a degree with no extra values. So I would suggest you to go for a regular degree and if you want a government job go for regular.

When you pursue a distance PG course, the value and importance of the course is perceived as a regular PG course by the employer simply by convention. The regular PG course shows more devotion and passion.
