Yes, the student can easily get admission with 60 percent marks because the minimum criteria that they set is 60 percent although it depends on the number of seat available and also the type of students applying.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for the NET exam. As per the rules aspirants who have successfully enrolled themselves in the Masters or equivalent course are also eligible to appear in the NET exam. Mainly there are two types of NET exam is conducted;
CSIT NET CSIR NET exam is conducted for the candidates who belongs from the Science background. This exam is separately conducted in 5 main subjects. UGC NET UGC NET exam is conducted for the candidates who belongs from the non-Science background. This exam is separately conducted in 81 subjects. Both the exams are conducted under NTA guidelines. For Masters in astrophysics, you need to have done Bachelor's in physics .Only with biology, you cannot apply. You can try post-graduation in other disciplines. All the best.

Yes, you can get admission, if you have studied subject that you want to choose in your MA Programme during in your Bachelors you can get admission. For eg : if you studied English as a subject in B.Sc Programme at least in 2 semester you are eligible to apply for MA in English. Thank You.
